I Can't View the PIL - It Will Not Open Print

To view the Patient Information Leaflet (PIL)

Find the medicine on emc and go to the PIL display tab

Click the large green box in the centre titled "View or print the patient leaflet as PDF"

A PDF version of the PIL will open in a new browser tab

During the publishing process, we check that all PILs open and display correctly. If the PIL doesn't open:

Sometimes the files are large - give the it time to download and open
Your internet connection may be too slow to download the file
Ensure that you have a PDF viewer installed. If not, Download Acrobat Reader
