Discontinued products are medicines that are no longer marketed
Pharmaceutical companies will often leave their SmPCs and PILs for discontinued medicines on the emc for information purposes as the medicines are still licensed and may still be available for use.
These are highlighted by a discontinued icon in the medicines A-Z list
A list of discontinued medicines can be found by clicking on "Medicines" in the top navigation menu, then "Discontinued Medicines" from the drop down list
